Future Goals is an initiative by the Sandals Foundation and AFC Ajax, supported by Adidas, Limpi, and Favela Street. Based on Curaçao, the program uses football to teach children life skills, strengthen community engagement, and raise awareness of plastic pollution.
Creative agency One:Nil approached us to develop the brand identity for the initiative. Since then, we have continued to support the program by creating event branding, advertising campaigns, and communication assets for activations throughout the year.
As I am originally from Curaçao, contributing to an initiative that empowers local youth made this project especially meaningful.
As Client Lead and Project Manager, I served as the primary point of contact for both the client and our creator network, managing the project from concept to delivery while overseeing planning, stakeholder communication, and quality control.
For this project, I also provided art direction and strategic input on concepts and production. Drawing on my Curaçao heritage and local network, I helped ensure the work was culturally authentic while supporting on-island research and production.

Future Goals is a collaboration between the Sandals Foundation and AFC Ajax that transforms discarded fishing nets and plastic waste into colorful football goals. By combining sport with sustainability, the initiative uses football to teach children valuable life skills while encouraging them to care for their communities and the natural environment of Curaçao.

Alongside the branding, we also designed and developed a website for Future Goals to showcase the project and share the latest updates. For the development phase, we collaborated with a trusted member of our creator network, ensuring a seamless translation of the design into a fully functioning digital platform.
On various occasions, Future Goals organised events and was showcased at trade shows. This gave us multiple opportunities to create on-brand assets and supporting visual materials for each activation.
